Pilates pelvic floor exercises are designed to strengthen the muscles of the pelvis and can address a range of pelvic issues. We more commonly see women affected by pelvic floor problems, particularly during pregnancy and after childbirth. Problems with the pelvis can have a massive impact on lots of other areas around the body. In addition, everyone can benefit from pelvic floor muscle exercises for prolapse and incontinence or weak bladder issues.
In these workouts, we work on strengthening the muscles around the pelvis, hips and lower back to protect the pelvic joints and address key issues related to the pelvic muscles.
