Pilates is excellent for preventing injuries before they even happen, as well as injury rehabilitation. We sometimes refer to injury prevention as 'prehab' and it is something I am a huge believer in as a physiotherapist. We can prevent an injury from occurring in the first place by properly conditioning the body with Pilates.
